Tchaikovsky : His Life And Accomplishments

If you have ever heard of the Nutcracker ballet, or you have ever see it, then you are well aware of who Tchaikovsky was. He was very famous for this piece of work and many individuals know this name. This is true even if they have never seen it. He did his work during the Romantic period and he was able to produce many ballets, operas and symphonies.

He spent around 11 years completing various important pieces of music. He worked very hard from 1867 to 1878. Some of the more famous things that he did included Swan Lake, the First Piano Concerto, and even The Little Russian. Many of these works will stand out to many people and this is true even if they do not know a lot of classical works or the individuals that created them.

The 1812 Overture is one of his very famous pieces that most people will hear and tell you that they are familiar with. You can hear it on the television from time to time and it has been used in a number of different ways. Sleeping Beauty, the ballet, was also composed by this famous artist. Most people are not aware of this fact and they are shocked when they find out.

There are some famous operas that people will place with his name. One of these is The Queen of Spades. This is one of the more famous opera works and those individuals that know the opera are probably very familiar with this opera.

While many individuals often think of the ballet when it comes to this amazing composure, and the works that he created, it is interesting to know that he also created a great deal of piano pieces throughout his lifetime. In fact, he actually created more than one hundred pieces that may, or may not, be well known. It is easy to see that he was very passionate about his work and what he was able to contribute to society. Those people that know the arts will be able to pick out his pieces in a heartbeat.
