Now We Can Legally Download Films

By Craig Boyer

There have been many news stores about people that paid huge fines for illegally downloading various copyrighted content. Such issues have made a lot of people fearful of downloading anything from the Internet. So, you should be aware that there are sources that you can use to download movies and they are perfectly legal!

While they are not free, they do provide a lot of value for your money. Their fees are generally much cheaper than what it would cost you to go out to the theater. They are also significantly lower than the price most stores charge for DVDs.

If you search online, you will find quite a few places that offer a movie download service. Some place charge per-movie. Many offer to let you rent a movie for a low rate, or you can choose to pay a higher amount and buy the movie.

When you rent it, you can only download and watch it once. Then the file becomes unusable. If you purchase the movie, you can watch it an unlimited number of times. The rental option is great if you do not have a lot of money or are not sure if you will like a certain movie. Some place even let you burn it to DVD, so you have a back-up copy.

There are also services that do not charge for each movie. Instead they charge a membership fee. In most cases you can choose your membership level and get a certain number of movies each month. Some of them also offer yearly membership options, if you are not a real frequent movie watcher.

Unlike traditional movie stores, these services also have no space constraints. That means they have a very large selection of movies to pick from. The only thing they deal with is a digital file and this does not take up a large amount of room. Without overhead costs, they can also offer much lower prices.

If you use these services, you also never have to worry about late fees. You no longer have to worry about running last nights DVD back to the store, before a certain time. Your fee has already been paid and there will be no other surprise charges showing up. Anyone that has ever returned a movie late knows how quickly those fees can add up.

You also do not end up wasting a lot of money if you downloaded a movie you really did not like. Compared to what you would have spent to buy a DVD, you have only spent a small fraction of that. If you want to get rid of it, you can just delete the file from your computer.

Such websites are known for offering everything from the old classics to the newest Hollywood blockbusters. You can easily search their sites. Most let you browse by title, director, genre, actor or title. This means you can find what you want very easily.

That means you can enjoy movie downloads, without worrying about breaking the law. Just pick the service you prefer, that offers the movies you want. You can enjoy them all, right from the comfort of your own home. - 40723
